Kiting the Columbia River Gorge
After kiting and commercial fishing in Alaska all summer, we are now here in Hood River, Oregon taking advantage of the amazing August conditions. The wind has been blowing 20-25 every day and the riding has been epic. While the Event Site is the usual place to hang and kite, this trip we are making more of an effort to see all the kites spots in the area. Yesterday and the day before we kited the Event Site, then Lyle. Today we kited Rufus and Rowena. Rufus was the place! Blowing 30 + and perfect conditions!
